This simple and elegant bracelet is a custom collaboration with Article 22 Peacebomb's "buy back the bombs" project. Article 22 works with artisans in Laos to recycle bomb material dropped on Laos during the Secret War in Laos (1963-1974) which left a legacy of 80 million unexploded bombs throughout the countryside. Each piece gives back to support traditional Laotian artisan livelihoods, village development, community endeavors and further de-mining efforts.
Our custom collaboration with Article 22 includes the word Rise Up engraved on one side, and Article 22 : Peacebomb engraved on the other.
Your purchase not only supports the anti-trafficking work of Daughters Rising, but also contributes to MAG (Mines Advisory Group) to safely & expertly clear some of the 80 million unexploded bombs contaminating land in Laos.
