Show your support and solidarity with the Burmese people in their fight for freedom both within and outside of Burma. Each charm is stamped with the Burmese word that translates to, “the right to freedom.”
This beautifully hand-crafted charm is made of Karen Hill Tribe Silver (which has actually MORE silver content than Sterling- approximately 98%- and will not tarnish!) by the talented Karen artisan Nook. In order to write the word, a metal stamp for each letter of the Burmese alphabet was hand-forged and individually stamped in place.
This piece not only makes a beautiful edition to any wardrobe, it is also an excellent conversation piece to educate others about the devastating conflict in Burma and ongoing struggles of the Burmese minority groups such as the Karen and other Hill Tribes to gain freedom and human rights.
Each charm comes with a removable Sterling jump ring.
